BAFTA 2020: Με 11 υποψηφιότητες προηγείται ο Joker του Τοντ Φίλιπς

Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες των Βρετανικών βραβείων BAFTA, στις οποίες ο Joker του Τοντ Φίλιπς προηγείται με 11 υποψηφιότητες. Ακολουθούν με 10 υποψηφιότητες ο «Ιρλανδός» του Μάρτιν Σκορσέζε και το «Κάποτε στο Χόλιγουντ» του Κουέντιν Ταραντίνο.

Τους τρεις προαναφερθέντες σκηνοθέτες ανταγωνίζεται ο Μπονγκ Τζουν – χο με τα «Παράσιτα», στις κατηγορίες της καλύτερης ταινίας και σκηνοθεσίας, με την ταινία να συγκεντρώνει συνολικά 4 υποψηφιότητες. Το βρετανικό «1917» συγκέντρωσε 9 υποψηφιότητες.
